The final day of the rally brought a mix of triumph and tribulation, with Kalle Rovanperä and Jonne Halttunen of Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT securing a commendable victory. Rovanperä’s prowess and consistency across the challenging stages underscored his exceptional talent and determination, marking his 12th career WRC victory and his second triumph in Kenya.

Takamoto Katsuta and Aaron Johnston also shone brightly, achieving a remarkable second place. Their performance, characterized by maturity and precision, underscored the formidable partnership and synergy within the Toyota team. Adrien Fourmaux and Alexandre Coria of M-Sport Ford WRT clinched the third spot, a testament to Fourmaux’s escalating form and the team’s unwavering commitment to excellence. After a maiden WRC podium in Sweden, this result confirms Fourmaux’s ascent in the sport, signaling his potential for future successes.

While the podium places basked in their well-deserved glory, the rally also reshaped the championship standings. Thierry Neuville leads with 67 points, closely followed by Elfyn Evans at 61, setting the stage for an enthralling title race as the season progresses.
